Founded in the early 1980s, Water Music Studios grew into a purpose-built recording complex located at 921-931 Madison Street. The facility featured professional recording rooms designed for high-quality production, along with a loft-style living space that allowed artists to stay onsite while working on their projects.

The studio developed a reputation for its comfortable, creative environment—offering musicians a place where they could concentrate on their craft outside the fast-paced atmosphere of Manhattan’s commercial studios.
